The Winey Cow is the brainchild of local Restaurateurs Cam and Jill Henderson. Founded in 2014 in Mornington, on Victoria's stunning Mornington Peninsula, they started with a box of straws, a communal table and a great vision. Nine years later, Mornington’s sister venue will be arriving on the shores of Main Beach, Queensland. We plan to open in March 2023.

 

As a brunch restaurant we strive for excellence in all that we serve and do for our customers and this philosophy also stands strong for our employees. We want our staff to be the best versions of themselves. This is reflected in our ownership structure for our Gold Coast venue. Cam and Jill are proud to welcome four Mornington staff members into the ownership structure. Welcome Jade, Rui, Britt and Magenta and congratulations on being proud business owners of Main Beach and custodians of our treasured brand, The Winey Cow. 

 

We are a multi award-winning venue and The Winey Cow Mornington was previously voted Cafe of the Year in Victoria and most recently ‘Best Breakfast Restaurant Victoria 2022.’ As champions of brunch, we pride ourselves on our beautiful venues, our delicious food and our friendly, welcoming service.

 

Our name? The Winey Cow is a playful reflection of our love for wine and cheese. The Mornington Peninsula and Gold Coast have amazing produce and where we can we will use local ingredients and wine throughout our menu. As a brand, we value supporting local business and will continue to make this a priority. 

 

We are more than just a restaurant. We offer our all day menu online so you can enjoy Winey at home using our delivery partners. You can hire out our venue for your next function, or we can bring our delicious catering menu to you with Winey Cow Catering. We have a fabulous range of merchandise for you to enjoy and purchase online through our shop.
